The kid also plays the drums.

THE DRUMS.

Thar goes my bias for drummers (eg. Minhwan, Minhyuk)

On another note, Big Bang's coming back! Happy not because I'm a fan, although I do like their music, but because Big Bang was there when I first started kpop, and to me, it's sort of like a homecoming.

SS501's coming back as well :') happy for VIPs and Triple S, I really am :'D Although it still stings a little, I'll keep waiting. Always keep the faith.

The Condo Chronicles
Thursday, November 25, 2010 / 9:48 PM

I think that's what my title will be every time I go to Kristine's condo and something interesting happens........... Actually everything happens in Kristine's condo, lol.

So U.P. Manila - College of Arts and Sciences (REPRESENT!) is on strike to oppose the 1.39B peso budget cut to state universities and colleges, and its departments and professors refused to hold classes.

Cool, if you didn't go to school at 2.30pm because you thought the professor from a department not from your own would hold classes. You decided to go to school, because even though it mind end up being your only class of the day, you thought, what the heck, it's a major subject. You need it.

Voila. The professor doesn't hold classes, and you're stuck with a day supposedly wasted -- fare money and effort wasted along with it.

But never fear, Kristine's condo is always here! ^0^ So we head over to Kristine's condo and spend the rest of the day there.

And it is there I watch, for the first time ever, JYJ's Ayyy Girl MV.

IKR. I just watched it earlier, even though it was released.......... 2 weeks ago? IDK, haha.

I was hesitant no, flat-out refused to watch the MV because of the negative reactions I saw ;________; I know, I know -- I shouldn't have let the negativity get to me, but what can you do. Peer pressure yo.

So I said to myself, well Nina, you won't watch the MV unless someone makes you, or you just can't help it. Earlier, it was the latter of the two that happened.

We were watching tvN and the beginning (LOL get it hehehehehehe) of this MV pops up. It's a horizon flashing different colors - red, blue, yellow, and I think, wait this looks familiar....... e_______e

And then I think, ohmygahd this can't be...............

Then Jaejoong slides up, and I go, ohhhhhhhhhhh damnnnnnnnnnnnn LOLOLOL IT'S AYYY GIRL.

So we watch it.

Personally, it isn't as bad as everyone made it out to be. IDK, u-know? The dance was okay, the boys...... well I'll always love the boys, hahahaha, the graphics were cool, some of the scenes were iffy (like wtf you guise, why are you up in the air, flailing like IDK what) and yes, they're still missing 2 people....... but all in all, the only thing I can complain about is Yoochun's hair.

Yes, I don't mind Junsu's apron and Jaejoong's abs.

BTW hahahaha thanks to Miya I've recently become....... IDK what to call it, but I've been interested in Hey! Say! JUMP :)) But only because of Yuto Nakajima, HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHAHAHAHAHA :))

So anyway, Friday tomorrow, and no classes, thanks to the strike. But I have Saturday classes so...... D:

Hello, lol, if you've listened to BEAST's Mastermind mini-album I think you'll find my title sorta-kinda familiar, haha.

So anyway, a few days ago, MCA (IDK lmao I just saw it floating over at Tumblr, haha) was selling these so-called limited edition BEAST Mastermind albums, so-called because they're signed, and they're from Korea. Now I actually didn't mind buying a copy, because 1, it's signed, 2, it's from Korea (I'm OC like that, having all my CDs bought online and from Korea lol) and 3, it's only 1,200php.

Now, now, let me justify my claim of "only 1,200php" -- I say this because all my CDs are bought online, and if not online (such as cases when my mum absolutely refuses to allow me to use her card) from sellers that import them from Korea, hence the fees tend to go up, because you're not only paying for the CD itself, but also the delivery + shipping + yung patong ng seller, LOL. So my purchases have never gone below 1,500php.

So to have an album from Korea, signed by some of my favorite K-idols (Dongwoon I'm looking at you, and yes, fine, Kikwang, since you're the other half of my Kiwoon otp) and below 1,500php? Fuck this shit, I'm buying =))

I really didn't think I was going to get a copy, because there were only 30 copies, and I was..... kinda late in e-mailing them =)) But lo and behold, I got a reply from MCA the next day, saying how I could have it delivered or how I could pick it up at their office in Ortigas.

Obviously I went with the second option, because damn the delivery fee was exorbitant, and Ortigas was just a short taxi ride away =))

I was surprised at how kind of small their office was, since I was expecting a whole floor abuzz with activity, but it was small, and really quiet :>

TL;DR anyway, it was signed and in the words of Ate Pausiu "Ibig sabihin hinawakan nila to!" lol

The packaging is really pretty ;; Like one of my favorite packaging designs ever -- hardbound, holo, and shiny.

And yes, the picture ~is~ blurry; it's hard to find a decent light source in the condo while it's 10pm, hahaha.

I must admit, I've been into BEAST lately. Mostly because of Dongwoon, haha. The boy is gorgeous, ngl, and ever since that fan-sign session last June (or was it July) he has totally earned a permanent place in my bias list. Foreals.

Anyway, classes have started for me (: I've Wednesdays off, haha 8D

Before the actual blog post, lmao, I'd like to take a few paragraphs to remember my old fangirling days, and say that, thanks to forums like TVfXQ Forever and IN:COM, my love for DBSK grew.

I'm not much into forum-ing nowadays, ever since the old TVfXQ Forever closed and moved, and now that IN:COM is as well, I don't think I'll go back to forums. The two have been a speshul place for me, because that's where I met most of my friends today -- they may have been few, but they remain my closest online friendships :>

Even though one is closed, and the other in the process of doing so, and certainly, it hurts to see that the places I used to turn to for news and ~support~ are gone and going, but whatever love for DBSK I have, it certainly won't.

I'm a DBSK fan, and I think know I will be for a long time.

So now that we've established I'm a DBSK fan........ :))

Ta-da~! I got my hands on those "limited edition" albums MCA has, the one with the BEAST signs on them, and I must say, I really like the album's packaging. Hardbound, glossy and holographic, hoho~ That, and the shots of Dongwoon in this mini-album have got to be some of my favorites, haha.

I stopped by their office in Ortigas, and it wasn't a bother, since it's only a short cab ride away from our condo; I was kind of surprised at the size of their office, since it wasn't even a whole floor but meh, who know what goes on in that teeny space of theirs on the 34th floor =))

PLEASE DIRECT YOUR ATTENTION TO THE POST ABOVE LOLOLOL.

Once my copy of Lights Go On Again arrives, BEAST is the B2ST will be the only mini of theirs I don't have XD

Also, now I've a decent and confirmed schedule for this sem, I'm going to make a schedule for my notebook XD Like what I've done in the past, hahaha.

AND AND pray that I actually reach College Scholar status for last sem......... 1.8 dammit, lol, I'm .1 away from being a CS =))

Roadtrips
Tuesday, November 2, 2010 / 11:05 PM

Hello! ^^

Did you know that these pictures which are absolutely ruining my layout, have been resized to around 50%? Some of them anyway. Nikki's is, I think, reduced to 50% its original size. The original dimension is around 4000px or something like that. Crazy huge. Anyway, lmao, my post isn't about that, it's obviously about roadtrips.

You see, I've never been one for roadtrips. It's not that I don't appreciate the privilege of having the freedom to drive around, but since I'm more of a home-staying kind of person (who am I kidding, of course it's about the internet) I'd rather stay home. But since I'm a paranoid person, thinking something would happen to my family without me there and I'd end up regretting it forever, every time, I'd tag along.

Last Saturday we went to Tagaytay. Guess what time we left? Ungodly 3-fucking-30 am. I told myself I wouldn't sleep, but even when I pull all-nighters I can't do without sleep. I'd sleep even if it were only for an hour. I had a bad cold, and a box of tissues was my best friend that day, and you know how when you go to high places, the pressure changes, you go sort of deaf and after your ears pop, your hearing goes back to normal?

That day, that didn't happen to me. My ears didn't pop, and I had to suffer having to be half-deaf for almost 2 days since that's how bad my cold was (it's sort-of anatomy related you know? EENT and such? LMAO w/e). And guess what, it still hasn't cleared.

Yesterday we went to Bataan. To see this place (it had Acuzar in it, sorry, lmao). Which was pretty, really (: It's sort of a cultural site, since the owner dismantles and transfers ancestral/historical houses from different parts of the Philippines, brings them there, and then builds them right back up again.

Today we went to Bulacan. To see Biak-na-Bato. Which really, was a fail!trip. Since when we got there, there was nothing. And to see the actual caves, you had to go down stairs and cross a hanging bridge.

Now you reader would think that "It's only stairs," but trust me. If you're a person like with altophobia and has been to Mt. Banawe, it was too much for me. The trauma from that previous trip was overwhelming :))

Anyway, since now classes are resuming, I'm once again stuck here at home ^0^ Since my classes don't start til the 11th, oho.

I guess I'll add pictures later.

And I have a huge dilemma D:

Nov. 5 will be a busy day for me -- enrollment, watching PA2 with college friends, and Abby's debut D: I'm wondering how to fit all this on one day, since heaven knows UP Manila enrollment isn't the smoothest process on earth D:

I'm hoping I'll pull through this day just fine~~
