So I saw this piece of news earlier about a Bulgarian (or was it Belgian?) buffalo going on a rampage in this festival here in the Philippines because it refused to kneel for this ritual. A ritual which involved, well, kneeling, and then having the poor animal walk in this manner to the church.

I respect tradition, I do, but srsly. If carabaos were meant to kneel, they would. BUT THEY DON'T. In a way I think they were asking for it, because in order to get the carabao to kneel they practically slap the animal dozens of times, forcing the knees to buckle so they'd kneel.

Now srsly. When you do that to an animal of considerable size there's going to be a problem when it gets pissed.

I do feel sorry for the people that get hurt but.. I feel for the carabao more. :x

Ah I'm so tired. T.T I never knew manning a booth could be so taxing. The last part of the day was what redeemed it, haha.
