I will not, I repeat, WILL NOT, take an INCOMPLETE grade for PE 1 FPF just for not making it to the finish line in time at the Fun Run held at Diliman earlier.

I am not an effing trained runner. Break it down - TRAINED. We received NO TRAINING. No frapping training whatsoever. As in no running; no jogging; NO SWEAT. Initiative my arse. She should've insisted we train for the culminating event for this subject; not go frolic at the badminton court or go swimming at the pool. RUNNER. Whoever the fck said I ran was crazy. I've ran, of course; but NEVER 2 KM IN ONE GO. Even my mum had to say that she did not know how the heck we managed to run the Acad Oval two times.
I will not let my written finals and attendance go unnoticed. Despite my earlier trespasses on attendance (2 lates), I have since then been reformed, and have attended PE class punctually. The only activity I have missed was swimming, and that was for personal reasons. My written finals, I hope, have garnered enough points for me to pass that.

You know what. I was in such a bad mood earlier (more about that later) BUT TVXQ TOTALLY TOTALLY MADE MY DAY BETTER.

So I woke up around 6.30-ish this morning. I mean, it was like extra effort cause today's a Saturday and all. So on the way there, I was texting Peji and when I arrived at school, only a few people were there. Early me, har har. So I text Peji -- "Peji, are you in school already?" He replies "yea." and then a new text message shows up on my screen, I read it, and I'm like, WTFH ARE YOU SERIOUS. But you know, just to be sure, I practically jumped from my seat and approached one of my PolSci classmates, and say "Seryoso ba toh?" because maybe I read it wrong; maybe I was having one of those hallucinations caused by waking up 4 hours too early. So she looks at my cellphone screen and she practically grabs my phone once she finishes reading because SHE CAN'T BELIEVE IT EITHER.
SIR RAMOTA CANCELLED OUR CLASS. I was like, ohmygoodness EFFORT MAN EFFORT. All the money I spent on fare (that's around 70php, to and from school), WASTED. So I had in my mind this emoticon on YM -- the one that's crying, because you know. I DIDN'T SLEEP.
Peji was grouching to me on the way to the LRT because he had to iron his clothes AND he still had that PolSci report to worry about. It would've all been over had the make up class push through.
Bright side is, I think the exam's moved to a later date. 8DD HURRAH.
Anyway, I'll have to revise my term paper; I'm afraid to open the version with comments on it, hahaha.

We're supposed to go swimming tomorrow for PE. Farking goodness pag eto talaga may grade na naman, di na ako papasok sa PE. She's teaching us NOTHING regarding physical fitness. Because the prof's always late. More often than not, he's late. Not just 15/5-minutes tardies; 30min-1 HOUR LATE-LATES. How can you sit around and wait for sth like that? Honestly? I mean, I do feel sorry that we always skip out on the prof but I think it's unfair how we arrive early, yet he's always late. WE MAKE AN EFFORT. We're not saying he isn't; we just don't see this effort. Sure we know it's traffic and all, BUT IT'S ALSO TRAFFIC FROM WHERE WE COME FROM. But we don't let that stop us from coming to class on time.

Yes. Maybe you think it makes you look cool; maybe it makes you feel you "belong". Whatever the reason is, I prolly won't know. And frankly, I don't want to know. Because in my opinion, they are a respected group. I don't look up to them, but I do know they have standards, and I respect these standards they place on members. Standards, in my opinion, you just don't seem to reach. No matter how hard you try, no matter how much you project this image or act this way, you can't fool us. We've been blocmates for more than a semester; do you think a name attached next to yours would also give you the same elevated status? I think not. Especially with the attitude you've shown us lately. For what it's worth, I think you dirty an otherwise respected organization. I may have no business saying this, but as an outsider looking in, this is what it looks like to me - an arrogant arse whose only schtick is to make himself look and feel good. Not them; you and you.

And may I say, in the light of the upcoming UP Manila elections, I have a few things to say about how the elections work in the university.
For one, I expected that the elections would be clean, would be smooth, essentially, I thought it would be nothing like how Philippine elections were held. Unfortunately, I was wrong. It's like this tiny national election where there are scandals, black propaganda, etc.
I'm not saying I'm disappointed; I just wasn't expecting it.
And second, someone, or should I say a party, fell short of my expectations. They really did. I was rooting for them, but once I saw their roster for the USC, I was, oh my. I still looked forward to their RTRs, because I thought I wasn't giving them a chance. But earlier, when they did, I thought, it's looking kind of weak; for me anyway.
I was disappointed in an answer they gave, by the way. The question that was asked was about the vote straight issue. Why vote straight? Is it not a violation of democracy? From what I understood, the reason why they wanted to vote straight was because their projects were interconnected, and one would not work if the other was missing. It was not undemocratic in the sense that they were not robbing the students of the right to choose.
I had wanted to ask, why would the projects not work if the other was missing? Are the projects that fragile that a missing piece would cause the whole endeavour to break down? Could you not fit a member of another party to your plans? Because I thought the projects were supposed to be geared towards the students, and should be dependent on them, not on the person in position.
Yes, one party would be more unified, but can't it be the same when another party-member is in the council? I was honestly disappointed.
And for another thing, I find that images matter a lot in elections. It's a sad reality, but that's just the way things are. No matter how good or intelligent you are, if you look like you haven't combed in days, no one will take you seriously. People would like to think that, oh we're UP, we look past that stuff. I beg to differ.

I am not an effing trained runner. Break it down - TRAINED. We received NO TRAINING. No frapping training whatsoever. As in no running; no jogging; NO SWEAT. Initiative my arse. She should've insisted we train for the culminating event for this subject; not go frolic at the badminton court or go swimming at the pool. RUNNER. Whoever the fck said I ran was crazy. I've ran, of course; but NEVER 2 KM IN ONE GO. Even my mum had to say that she did not know how the heck we managed to run the Acad Oval two times.
I will not let my written finals and attendance go unnoticed. Despite my earlier trespasses on attendance (2 lates), I have since then been reformed, and have attended PE class punctually. The only activity I have missed was swimming, and that was for personal reasons. My written finals, I hope, have garnered enough points for me to pass that.

He replies "yea." and then a new text message shows up on my screen, I read it, and I'm like, WTFH ARE YOU SERIOUS. But you know, just to be sure, I practically jumped from my seat and approached one of my PolSci classmates, and say "Seryoso ba toh?" because maybe I read it wrong; maybe I was having one of those hallucinations caused by waking up 4 hours too early. So she looks at my cellphone screen and she practically grabs my phone once she finishes reading because SHE CAN'T BELIEVE IT EITHER.
SIR RAMOTA CANCELLED OUR CLASS. I was like, ohmygoodness EFFORT MAN EFFORT. All the money I spent on fare (that's around 70php, to and from school), WASTED. So I had in my mind this emoticon on YM -- the one that's crying, because you know. I DIDN'T SLEEP.
Peji was grouching to me on the way to the LRT because he had to iron his clothes AND he still had that PolSci report to worry about. It would've all been over had the make up class push through.
Bright side is, I think the exam's moved to a later date. 8DD HURRAH.

And may I say, in the light of the upcoming UP Manila elections, I have a few things to say about how the elections work in the university.
For one, I expected that the elections would be clean, would be smooth, essentially, I thought it would be nothing like how Philippine elections were held. Unfortunately, I was wrong. It's like this tiny national election where there are scandals, black propaganda, etc.
I'm not saying I'm disappointed; I just wasn't expecting it.
And second, someone, or should I say a party, fell short of my expectations. They really did. I was rooting for them, but once I saw their roster for the USC, I was, oh my. I still looked forward to their RTRs, because I thought I wasn't giving them a chance. But earlier, when they did, I thought, it's looking kind of weak; for me anyway.
I was disappointed in an answer they gave, by the way. The question that was asked was about the vote straight issue. Why vote straight? Is it not a violation of democracy? From what I understood, the reason why they wanted to vote straight was because their projects were interconnected, and one would not work if the other was missing. It was not undemocratic in the sense that they were not robbing the students of the right to choose.
I had wanted to ask, why would the projects not work if the other was missing? Are the projects that fragile that a missing piece would cause the whole endeavour to break down? Could you not fit a member of another party to your plans? Because I thought the projects were supposed to be geared towards the students, and should be dependent on them, not on the person in position.
Yes, one party would be more unified, but can't it be the same when another party-member is in the council? I was honestly disappointed.
And for another thing, I find that images matter a lot in elections. It's a sad reality, but that's just the way things are. No matter how good or intelligent you are, if you look like you haven't combed in days, no one will take you seriously. People would like to think that, oh we're UP, we look past that stuff.
